A new pressing via Convulse Records of the 2022 album by these St. Louis (Missouri) electro punks. Shouty vocals ranting over pulses of techno influenced synth pop and EBM. Something like a mangled, punked-up Underworld. A bit out of step with current trends (when the fuck is weirdo electro-punk ever on trend, anyway?), but all the more novel and ear-catching because of it. And, you know, it’s on Convulse Records too. The art of the front cover is especially eye-catching, and thankfully it is replicated in a huge fold out poster within the sleeve, along with some pretty mad vinyl colouration.
