Shudder To Think – “Ten-Spot” LP
Shudder to Think’s second full-length album, (and their first on Dischord), originally released in 1990. This pressing of Ten Spot has been remastered from the original tapes. The artwork has been revised courtesy of Heather Hendrix Russell. Fans of Revolution Summer/Dischord already know this album, but also recommended for fans of mid 90’s emo like Sunny Day Real Estate and Elliot. Shudder To Think were pioneers, introducing a very welcome feminine and abstract quality into the 80’s hardcore formula. The fact that the band had ties to Jeff Buckley is a pretty solid indication that their scope was a bit broader than most.
