The self titled debut from Chicago’s Spread Joy. A group consisting of some familiar faces from Negative Scanner and Human Beat. Ten tracks in fourteen minutes, a distillation of ‘Pink Flag’ era Wire and Gang Of Four, with No Wave dashes and executed with hardcore-punked energy. An end result that is similar to a mix of Shopping, C.C.T.V. and Bacchae.
