Show Me The Body – “Trouble The Water” LP
Experimental post-hardcore from New York, this is their third album. Mosh-friendly punk attitude with a touch of electronics, rap influenced vocals, and occasional (errrr…) banjo picking. It’s hard to know what to make of Show Me The Body – versatile and interesting, sure. And ‘hardcore adjacent’ in the same sense as Soul Glo. A sound that ends-up, to my ears, as somewhere between Zulu and Dope Body. Recorded at the band’s Corpus Studios in Long Island City, NY, with producer Arthur Rizk.
