Description

Falling Forward – “Let These Days Pass: The Complete Anthology 1991-1995” LP

The band that formed in Louisville, Kentucky in 1991, to then split-up in 1995 and become the slightly better known Elliott. Childhood friends, in their teen years, greatly influenced by the introspective, metal-tinged, hardcore that was bursting out of their home-town scene – especially End Point and Sunspring – plus neighbouring Mid West bands like Split Lip and Majority Of One. End result, the emo drama of Sunny Day Real Estate, but with the straight edge chug of Initial/Doghouse Records. This anthology combines the mini LP Hand Me Down (Initial Records, 1994), the debut EP Let This Day Pass (Noble Records, 1993), the two acoustic songs from the split 7″ with Metroschifter (initial/Slamdeck, 1995), and the final two track 7″ on Doghouse Records (1995). Re-packaged in all-new artwork, and including a 20-page full-colour booklet of rare and unpublished photos, fliers, and lyrics.
