Entombed – “Uprising” LP and Slipmat
The sixth full-length album by the Swedish metal band. A mid-period recording for the band, released in 2000, at a point in time when the line-up largely consisted of original members from the classic death metal period, with just founding member Nicke Andersson having left (to pursue hellacopters). An album that marked the bands’ return to the hard rock/crust punk of Wolverine Blues (as opposed to the more commercial sound that featured on 98’s Same Difference). Twelve tracks with a crunchy-as-fuck production, revved-up on some serious punk aggression (reflected in both the sleeve’s graphic style, and the album’s title). This 2023 repress comes issued with an embossed gatefold jacket and includes an “Uprising” slipmat.
