Melodic punk from the tail-end of the 1990s, played by guys who sounded like no one else. Like a mix of The Dickies, Naked Raygun, Crimpshrine, Jawbreaker and Operation Ivy, fired-up with the aggressive speed of full-on anthemic hardcore – they avoided many of pop-punk’s tropes, and opted instead for weighty lyrical content, loaded with caustic humour, delivering their catchy-as-all-hell tunes with the bloody-nosed bombastic energy. Situationist Comedy is their third album, t’was released on Fat in 2002.
