Description
Sweet Pill – “Where the heart is” LP
A debut long-player for this Philadelphia quintet. Math rock complexity alongside an indie-pop sensibility, touching on the stylistic traits of bigger bands like Paramore and Tigers Jaw, while roughing-up their commercial polish with some old school awkwardness and boisterousness that has more in common with Algernon Cadwallader, Screaming Females, and, stepping back in time, Faraquet and Braid.
