Conflict – “It’s Time To See Who’s Who” LP
The South London anarcho punk’s debut album, released in 1985 on the Crass offshoot label, Corpus Christie. Marking the bands rise up the 80’s punk rock hierarchy after the demise of Crass and Flux Of Pink Indians. Like any Conflict recording, you get warts and all, (for some unknown reason, this was a band who seemingly chose to leave in any glaringly obvious studio mistakes) from the shambolic intro of “Young Parasites” through to the glorious stampede of “Crazy Government”. Recorded at Southern Studios in 1982.
