Avail – “One Wrench” LP
Melodic, high energy hardcore punk from Richmond, Virginia. Avail’s fifth full-length was also their first release on Fat Wreck Chords, originally released in 2000. Tight DC hardcore (Soulside, Fugazi) with added rockin’ moments (of a type that they shared with, say, Hot Water Music), on this album especially they sounded like some inspiration was drawn from listening to Articles Of Faith.
