Compiles all of the records released by Ignition: The two 7″s (the self-titled debut and Anger Means, both released as Dischord half-numbers in 1987) and the two 12″s (Machination full-length album of 1988, and The Orifying Mystical Of… mini album of 1989). A classic DC punk band, one of the all-time best, in fact. Formed in 1986 by Alec MacKaye and Chris Bald, both fresh from Faith, along with drummer Dante Ferrando from Gray Matter and Iron Cross, plus the irrepressible Chris Thomson who jumped ship from playing bass in the original line-up of Soulside.
