A reissue to celebrate the 30th anniversary of this seminal record of 1994. Seattle’s Undertow were the true titans of the early 90’s hardcore scene. Taking their cue from Inside Out and (I would imagine) No Escape, then ratcheting-up the levels of emotional intensity and crushing heaviness. It was a gamechanger. Records by Chokehold, Strain, (early) Unbroken and (early) Snapcase, plus countless others, followed in the wake of this release but none of them were able to match it. Originally released on the Washington-state label Excursion Records, this is the first pressing since it came out in the mid ’90s.
