Recorded by Kurt Ballou and Zach Weeks at God City Studios and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege. How close if Umbra Vitae to older/mid-period Converge? Working-out and weighing-up the differences is all part of the fun… I don’t want to be unkind because they’re like a much valued, dear, old friend, buuut, I do think that this has the edge over the previous two albums by Converge.
