Teen Mortgage – Self-titled LP
Headbanging fuzz punk from a Washington DC duo. Hard to classify, but comparisons to other two-piece bands can be made: Lightening Bolt, Death From Above 1979 and No Age come to mind, just a little (thankfully, no Royal Blood). Teen Mortgage have played with Red Fang – which somehow makes sense. Judging by their videos, they could play alongside The Chats too. King Pizza Records has collected all the band’s releases (cassette EP and lathe cut 7″s) on one full-length. Watch out for their name in the near future. And kick yourself at that later date for not nabbing a copy of this LP when you had the chance…
