Appearing in the fall of 1994, this follow-up was slightly overshadowed by the majestic glory of the debut full-length album, Copper Blue, but by any other standards this is still a strong recording. Ten tracks that continues the heavy shoegaze-pop with BIG tunes. Maybe not as immediate in grabbing your attention, but like later period Husker Du, you have to allow for repeated listens before you get fully submerged… I must have played Copper Blue to death back in the day, and yet it’s this album that I find myself playing the most all these dacades later.
