Agit-pop from San Fransisco, following-up their earlier debut EP Mass Hysteria. Picking up comparisons to the Talking Heads and Clash, which is accurate in as much as the vocalist does share similarities to David Byrne, and the guitars do have a choppy 77/reggae style in places. A collection of four quite diverse songs and with serious political themes (but by a band that probably doesn’t take themselves too seriously) This is perfect for anyone who likes the idea of !!! mixing-it with the noisier-end of the Deranged roster. Or a rowdier and less polite Paraquet Courts. Spirtual Cramp features ex-members of Creative Adult, Fearing, Profile, and Primal Rite. A few years since its release, and there is still a loud buzz surrounding this band, and it doesnt seem to be going away…
