Slow Mass – “Treasure Pains” Deluxe Edition LP
A post-hardcore indie rock outfit from Chicago, formed in 2015, this is their debut 12″ EP, originally released in 2016, and recently repressed as a limited ‘Deluxe Edition’ with an impressive hand assembled sleeve. The band toured in support of the EP with the likes of mewithoutYou, The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die, and Pianos Become the Teeth – which gives a clear indication as to their place in the scheme of current music scenes. They also delve heavily into the 90’s territory of Jawbox, Unwound and The Breeders.
