Description

Skewbald/Grand Union – “2 Songs” CD EP

The infamous in between band formed by Ian Mackaye and Jeff Nelson – along with with their Dischord housemate Eddie Janney (of Faith and later Rites Of Spring etc.) and another local punk, John Falls (who had done a short stint as guitarist with Youth Brigade) – while Minor Threat went on hiatus (from Autumn 1981 to Spring 1982) when Lyle Preslar disappeared off to University. A three song demo recording was made by Skewbald (aka Grand Union), existing as an obscure Minor Threat demo amongst tape traders at the time, but that was later released as 7″ EP (with the three tracks condensed into two) in 1991 to celebrate the fiftieth Dischord release.
