Public Acid – “Condemnation” 7″
Trust Beach Impediment to end the year with an ear-busting bang. North Caroliner’s Public Acid have a self-released 12″, 7″ flexi and clutch of cassettes already under their belts (hand-up, I admit, they passed me by). Twisted as fuck, this is scorching noise punk, the real deal, probably with a heavy influence from Japan, just unrelenting and live affirming. Exactly what that sorry-arse year deserved. Recorded and mastered at Artifact Audio in NYC, each record comes in a sleeve both designed and screen printed by Public Acid collaborator and comrade Thomas Sara. This second press is on yellow translucent vinyl and includes a poster insert.
