Power Trip – “Live In Seattle, 05.28.2018” LP
The titans of Texas thrash metal remind us of why they were so special, with a live recording, as the title states, from Seattle, Washington, at Neumos on May 28th, 2018. The set list is a selection of eleven classic tracks from their Nightmare Logic and Manifest Decimation albums, and the sound quality is so high, you can fully appreciate why Southern Lord knew they absolutely had to put it onto vinyl.
FYI, “Live In Seattle” is a live set from a show in Seattle; it is not the band expressing a wish for everyone to move and live in the town of Seattle… because that would be hugely impractical, and also weird considering Power Trip were from Dallas.
