Porvenir Oscuro – “Asquerosa Humanidad” LP
A hardcore-punk band from New York City. With tunes full of pounding aggression, vocal melodies and Chaos UK style distorto-fuzz – an end result that echoes Danish punk of the early 1980s (which is random, I know, but I immediately thought: Kalashnikov and Electric Deads), but from a band that also shares ties to Pobreza Mental (so add Toxic State to the mix). Sleeve and double sided A2 poster were designed by Guitarist Gage Allison; recorded, mixed and mastered by Sasha Stroud at Artifact Audio.
