This is Oranssi Pazuzu’s fourth album, released in 2016 by both Svart and 20 Buck Spin for the US (a new album came out on Nuclear Blast Records in 2020). Hypnotic phychedelia collides with disgusting extreme metal and then sets off for the skies – Space Rock is the destination. Orchestrated noise rock, meant to both unsettle and seduce the listener, or, fellow voyager, rather. I so wish they had used this recording as the soundtrack for some of the scenes in the Scandinavian sci-fi movie, Aniara.
