Narrow Head – “Satisfaction” LP
The debut full-length record, available once again on vinyl for the first time since its initial release in 2016 (originally on Floodgate Records). Dense, sludgey indie-pop from these Houston based shoegazers, with enough heaviness and volume to keep them firmly within the post-hardcore camp. The vocals, that are sung in a (sort of) Smashing Pumkins style, are buried within what is essentially a mix of old school Texas Is The Reason and Quicksand, but with the additon of spacey guitar effects. Good formula.
