Mock Execution – “Killed By Mock Execution” LP
Previously known for the 7″ EP on Lengua Armada Records back in 2019, still alive and kicking, and furthermore, hitting the noise-punk sweet-spot bang-on. Mock Execution may reside in Chicago, but they play their punk like the UK is where they wanna’ be. Elements of early Napalm Death (Scum side one), and there’s a touch of early Disorder in them decibels too. (All noise punk roads ultimately lead to Bristol). Also, as their bandcamp bio rightly states, there’s an additional bit of Scandinavia and Japan in their mix.
