Released in February 2021, their 24th studio album, (with EPs, collaborations, and compilations, it is roughly 32). Reuniting the original line-up from 1983 of Osborne, Crover (switching to bass) and Mike Dillard (on drums). The Riff is, as ever, centre stage, with occasional daft moments popping here and therr. I wouldn’t know where to start with any Melvins album of the past twenty years, but this one is, first and foremost, straight-up hard-rocking fun. Hype sticker says “special black vinyl”, and comes with a two sided fold-out poster.
