The screamo-punk band from San Francisco, CA. With a history spanning nearly two decades, Loma Prieta have forged their own unique style of post-punk and post-hardcore, fired-up by the violence and explosive intensity of screamo-emo-violence. Theirs is ground somewhere between Envy and Malady, two bands that are very highly cherished in this household. Within its eleven tracks Last contains all of their recognisable traits – delicate moments and melodic hooks contrasting with the loud, crazy waves of drama, and the emotional tension cascading out of each song.
