The Canadian noise rock trio’s ninth album, serving as companion piece to last year’s Null LP. Featuring 8 new tracks recorded and produced throughout the fall and winter of 2021. A pummelling assault of desperate angst and neurotic tension. Hard, heavy and loud. Already celebrated and cherished by folk who dig Pissed Jeans, Unsane, Silent Front, Chatpile, The Paper Chase, etc, – so it’s hardly worth mentioning ‘FFO’… ( but, I wonder, like arcane occult knowledge, are they something of shared secret?)
I am, as always, hugely grateful that Ken Mode are twisted-up with all these personal demons; and that they still burn with the need to publicly exorcise them. Their suffering is our gain.
