Kara – Self-titled LP
The debut album by this Warsaw band with members (both current and past) of such bands as Dezerter, Kinsky, TZN Xenna, Morus, El Banda, Antidotum. Their logo and sleeve art, designed in a distinct Amebix crust-punk style, are heavily misleading as this, instead, is gruff, hard rockin’ hardcore punk in an early Poison Idea style. It is something of a curveball, but by no means a disappointing deception, as this instantly hooks you with its hard, fast, tuneage that is full of menace and fury, backed by some first rate musicianship.
