Ohyda – “Koszmar” LP
Poland’s Ohyda released a debut 12″ in 2016 which became an instant favourite in this household, mainly due to its huge multi-layered wall-of-noise guitar (that brought to mind Antisect’s In Darkness LP, and this is an Antisect household, through and through). For their follow-up full-length Ohyda have continued with an 80’s influence, but to my ears, this burrows further into their own East European punk territory: that of Dezerter, Chaos and Abaddon. Add to that plenty of heavy, distortion and tripped-out effects.
