In the absence of a new recording (what’s up Jivebomb? Drop yer bomb) Flaspots have put their 2022 cassette-only EP on to vinyl, accompanied by the six tracks from their 2021 demo recording. For anyone who has been following other bands on this label (along with Gel, Gulch) this is a perfect shoe-in for your lug ‘oles. Modern hardcore, that, to a large extent, is free from the shackles of the past; keeping things short, fast, and catchy. Recorded at J. Robbins’ Magpie Cage studio and mixed and mastered by Jon Markson (Drug Church, Regulate, Soul Blind).
