Jerry’s Kids – “Kill Kill Kill” LP
In 1987, after a two year hiatus, Boston’s Jerry’s Kids re-united, and two years later released the follow-up to their landmark full-length, Is This My World? The resulting 13 track Kill Kill Kill maintained the intensity and breakneck speed of that classic debut album, but added a few other influences, not least a back-to-punk aesthetic – like they had been listening to a lot of early GBH, Agent Orange and Naked Raygun. Compared to some of their Boston mates who were also entering their second phase (F.U.s, SSD, Gang Green etc.), it was, thankfully, a pretty impressive comeback.
