Their debut EP from 2021 (on Whisperer In Darkness Records) picked-up a fair whack of praise and enthusiastic attention, now this Portland band returns to bring more deafness through distortion. Keep in mind, this is on Leben Toten’s label, Black Water. Dense, uncompromising noise that is layered and chaotic, but in just the right balanced amount that your ear gets both challenged and then ultimately rewarded. Extreme Noise Terror comes to mind – albeit decades apart – in that Horrendous 3D confront the listener with a deeply unsettling aural impact while also sounding excitingly fresh and new.
