These London based guys have carved out their own distinct sound so precisely that you know exactly what to expect with their third full-length, and that includes the sense of forward-looking progression that has also become part of the recognisable High Vis formula. Is it post-punk, post-hardcore, alternative rock, or indie pop? Yes, and no, to all. New and old combined – which is wise choice. Also a wise decision was to not steal their influences from American hardcore. Too many UK and European bands have done just that for many decades, and to the benefit of very few. Thank fuck and praise satan for High Vis. Good musicianship, and well sung vocals are a bonus too, of course.
