Hiatus – “Out Of Hand” LP
Uh-oh… They’re back. From a hiatus, of course. These legendary Belgian peace punks have recorded their third album twenty seven years since the self-titled LP released by Skuld Records in 1996. Yoww, who let all those years slip by? Featuring one re-recorded oldie, and twelve new tracks, this is exactly the straight-ahead punk assault that you would expect from the these blackened vets – still savage and feral, with no great deviation from a timeless and unwholesomely good formula – although there are are plenty of juicy additions in the form of guitar and vocal overdubs that keeps the ear hooked from start to finish. No drifting off into a the haze of comfort blanket distortion on this one, too much going on, it grabs and holds your attention throughout.
