The second studio album (from 1992) and major label debut by New York’s hard-rock/alternative/”thinking person’s metal band” (aka ‘smart rock’). Heavy, dropped-tuned guitar-riffing, with bone-snapping beats, and trademark off-kilter, syncopated time signatures. Their home-town connections, past and present, go off in all directions (Battles, Anthrax, Rest In Pieces, Band Of Susans, Handsome, Biohazard, and David Bowie, even).
