Hellshock – Self-titled LP
After 22 years and several EPs and splits, the fourth album by Portland’s ‘stenchcore’ masters, featuring former and current members of Detestation, Remains Of The Day, Lebenden Toten, The Estranged, Warcry etc.. Ten super-epic tracks recorded in 2020 at Red lantern studios, mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege and featuring the addition of Robbie Chronic from Ripper on second guitar, adding solos and melodies on top of the heavy riffage that the original core group had perfected all those years ago. All culminating in a powerhouse roar that is way superior in sound quality compared to the 80’s lo-fi recordings of the crust bands that initially provided the band’s inspiration and influences. This is the Euro version on Agipunk, it was first released by Black Water in the US.
