The return, with their sophomore full length album, of the Chicago based dystopian death metal group. Engineered and mixed by Andy Nelson (Bricktop Recording Studios) and mastered by Brad Boatright (Audiosiege). Ten new tracks of merciless, sledgehammer-pounding, death metal from members of Harm’s Way, Weekend Nachos and Like Rats. My re-occurring criticism of many of the bands that come under the death metal umbrella is that their songs are merely riffs tagged onto riffs. Not so, with Hate Force, they have sussed out how to write a song; songs that are aided and abetted by the riff. Fans of the genre might want to take note of a top quality band that are slipping under the radar.
