Description

Flux Of Pink Indians – “Not So Brave” LP

Bishop’s Stortford’s Flux Of Pink Indians – champions of the original wave of anarcho-punk. Back in the day, a hugely popular underground punk band from the early years of punk – maybe it has become an oversight to acknowledge that in the first half of 1980’s there were probably as many leather jackets sporting their name and logo as there were for Crass (there is no market research to back-up this point. Just, as usual, another of my random pontifications). This compilation, originally made available as a CD in 1997, contains the early recordings, not long after the band’s transition from The Epileptics: the Strive demo recorded at Southern Studious in 1982; an alternative mix of album track “Background Of Malfunction”; their track from the Wargasm compilation on Pax Records (82); their first demo (1980).
