The Boston, Massachusetts punk band following up their debut 12″ that was released by Triple B in 2021, now unleashing an altogether different beast: the sound of a hardcore band exploring 80’s goth/metal/rock, and consequently emerging as a horror-punk band that have overdosed on Killing Joke records, (and of course, why wouldn’t you? perfect band to OD on). “Mourning Moon drags the listener through the dark in 12 thrilling tracks, and drives a stake right into the heart of 2023’s most compelling releases.” – as label hype goes, that isn’t altogether too far from the truth. It’s a unique record, and an intriguing one, too. They do it good. Give it a listen, especially if you dig Poison Ruin and Devil Master.
