Flag Of Democracy – “Love Songs” 7″
One of the less well known punk bands that lit-up the American underground in the second half of the 1980’s. Like a faster, brattier Dead Kennedys, pumped-up on way too many e-numbers, F.O.D. were spawned in the suburbs of Philadelphia in the early 80s, and this EP – a stupidly fast collection of eight super-distorted lo-fi delights – was their debut, originally released by Speed Of Sound RecordsĀ in 1984 (later repressed by Bitzcore as “Eight Love Songs” in 1990), and once again repressed for Record Store Day 2015.
