Enemy – “Maladjusted” LP
An LA band with their debut full-length, following on from a couple of previous 7″ EPs. Straight forward smash-bash-crash hardcore, similar to many modern bands, not least their fellow label mates on 11 PM Records. They also utilise some nifty old school tropes – both UK 82 and classic West Coast hardcore. Which leads to a wholesome balance of stompy ferocity and ear-catching melodic hooks topped by an infectious energy and a next-level edginess.
