Description

The Electric Circus – “Direct Lines” 7″

A one-off synth-pop single from 1981 that has recently picked-up a cult like interest, scoring some big number Youtube clicks. Brisk paced, space-age keyboard pop masterminded by Chris Payne who had a hand in co-writing Visage’s “Fade To Grey”, and who also played in Gary Numan’s band. Recorded at Pebble Beach Studios in Sussex UK, where The Adverts recorded the “Gary Gilmore’s Eyes/Bored Teenagers” single. Now remastered and given its second release on the power-violence/hardcore/noise label Iron Lung. It all makes perfect sense.
