Darkthrone “Soulside Journey” LP
A death metal masterpiece from Nordic days of old. After the release of this, their debut album, released by Peaceville way back in 1991, they became disciples of thee black metal and overnight became a completely different band. Before their enthrallment to Mayhem, their alignment was closer to Entombed and Dismember, and their influences were more in keeping with the obvious heavy metal delights of Morbid Angel, Death and Autopsy.
