Comeback Kid – “Turn It Around” LP
Originally released in 2003, this Canadian hardcore band started out as a side project to Figure Four, quickly become a high-profile act in their own right, touring the world and its festivals, and releasing a stream of LPs on Victory Records. This debut album has been repressed once again by Facedown, should be smokey vinyl. I don’t mind admiting, this lot passed me by, and probably, I now realise, due to a natural aversion to anything released by Victory Records circa’99/post-Snapcase. But this is pretty high quality energetic hardcore, somewhere between Have Heart, Terror, American Nightmare and Bane.
