Originally released 1991, the third album by the experimental electronica collaboration masterminded by John Balance and Peter ‘Sleazy’ Christopherson. A step away from the dark, disturbing, death-horror of Scatology and Horse Rotovator, embracing instead some of the lighter, psychedelic aspects of acid house and dance music. While still remaining staunchly esoteric and deviant. A period of heavy drug use and sleep deprivation, recording was interrupted by constant hallucinations of “10-foot-tall Amazonian warriors and Babylonian kings” who were crowding the room. Featuring guest vocals from Annie Anxiety and Marc Almond – who were comparatively very small, and didn’t get in the way at all.
