Bullet Lavolta – “Dead Wrong” LP
A band from the Boston, Massachusetts scene, who started out in 1987, at a time when a lot of the earlier hardcore bands were ‘progressing’ and radically changing their style of music, these guys came straight-out with their own version of post-hardcore punk. Hard edged rock with grit and angst, they also featured Kenny Chambers on second guitar, moonlighting from Moving Targets. This is a repress of their debut 6 track 12″ EP initially released by Taang! Records in 1988, and then reissued by Funhouse that same year. As far as I can tell these copies are the original Funhouse versions – a warehouse find – from 1988, and include a ” History of Taang!” colour insert.
