The Welsh hard rock power trio that sounded like a cross between Cream, the Groundhogs and Black Sabbath, like so many of their peers, straying from the blues towards the progressive (hello, heavy metal). Founded in Cardiff, 1967, In For the Kill was their fourth album. Co-produced by the band and Rodger Bain (who also produced Black Sabbath and Judas Priests’ earliest outings). Fast and dangerous, but also great fun.
