BÖRN – “Drottningar Dauoans” LP

 The second album by this post-punk band from Reykjavik, Iceland. Atmospheric tribal beats flip into full-on, hard-hitting fast punk, and the vibe goes from dark and moody to desperate anger, and all the while awash with chorus-drenched guitar chords. Somewhere betwixt Christian Death, Rudimentary Peni.  I’m not a fan of the band Savages, but Börn are a bit like how I would imagine Savages would sound if they completely lost their shit, with a total meltdown, and then got really raging angry.
