Their previous two albums Starspawn and Hidden History Of The Human Race are rather fantastic progressive-death-metal work-outs, full of innovation, and propelled with spacey psychedelia; and here, for their third full-length, the Colorado cosmic long-hairs have made a drastic experimental detour, dropping the riffs and harsh vocals, opting instead for two lengthy compositions of spaced-out ambient atmosphere. Along the lines of Tangerine Dream, Zombi and John Carpenter soundtracks.
