Black Flag – “TV Party” 12″ EP
The notorious three song EP, recorded in 1982, produced by Black Flag and Ed Barton, and originally released by SST Records on 7″ format. The original version of the song “TV Party” was released on the 1981 album Damaged. This 7″ version was re-recorded in March of the following year, and featured the new drummer Emil Johnson, with a slower tempo. Each version of the song lyrically references slightly different TV shows from the era in which each recording was made (recorded a third time for 1984’s Repo Man movie).
